Patent and Trade Secret Notice
The Multipurpose Transaction Protocol technology and related technologies are covered by U.S. Patent Numbers 7158479, 7313627, 7404003, and 7630315. Aspects of these technologies and related software are protected by US and state trade secret laws.
This site may collect information about your browsing activity to analyze traffic and help us improve your user experience. This processing may include your IP address, browser information, and storing cookies on your browser for up to 13 months. This data is processed only by us and our service providers based on our legitimate interests.
If you contact us via form, email, phone, or other method, such as to request a trial, meeting, or technical support, the information you provide will be processed by us to service your request and provide followup contact regarding your experience and needs. This data is processed only by us and our service providers based on your explicit consent.
If you establish a customer account with us, either for an extended trial or purchase of a software license, the site may collect information about your browsing activity, including your username and the information described above, for the purpose of providing access to the software you have requested and fulfilling our obligations under any applicable license agreements. This data is processed only by us and our service providers based on our contract with you or your employer.
Data Expedition, Inc. does not provide data storage or handling services. All DEI software runs on customer provided infrastructure which DEI does not control and cannot access without explicit customer assistance. DEI's handling of information which customers choose to disclose, such as in the course of receiving technical support, is considered "Confidential Information" under the applicable Software License Agreement.
DEI software does not transmit user information to DEI. Software which requires license code registration may send a registration message to one of DEI's servers when you first run the application or register its license code on a new machine. This message contains only your license information and the application identification text.
Any software that is made available to download from the Site ("Software") is the copyrighted work of DEI and/or its suppliers. Use of the Software is governed by the terms of the end user license agreement which accompanies or is included with the Software ("License Agreement"). You must agree to the terms of the License Agreement prior to using any Software that it accompanies. Software is made available for download solely for use by end users according to the License Agreement. Any reproduction or redistribution of the Software not in accordance with the License Agreement is expressly prohibited by law, and may result in severe civil and criminal penalties. Violators will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible.
All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork and computer code (collectively, "Content"), including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, "look and feel" and arrangement of such Content, contained on the Site is owned, controlled or licensed by or to DEI, and is protected by trade dress, copyright, patent and trademark laws, and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws.
Unless otherwise specified, the Site is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from the Site without the express prior written consent of DEI. You may not use deep-linking, frames, embedding, or any other means to cause any part of the Site to appear as part of or to be included within another site without the express prior written permission of DEI.
You may use information on DEI products and services (such as documentation, white papers, and similar materials) purposely made available by DEI for downloading from the Site, provided that you (1) not remove any proprietary notice language in all copies of such documents, (2) use such information only for your personal, non-commercial informational purpose and do not copy or post such information on any networked computer or broadcast it in any media, (3) make no modifications to any such information, and (4) not make any additional representations or warranties relating to such documents.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Site, or any other systems or networks connected to the Site or to any DEI server, or to any of the services offered on or through the Site, by hacking, password "mining" or any other illegitimate means. You may not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Site or any network connected to the Site, nor breach the security or authentication measures on the Site or any network connected to the Site.
You agree that you will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the infrastructure of the Site or DEI's systems or networks, or any systems or networks connected to the Site or to DEI.
DEI may, at any time and without notice, make changes to the Site. The Site may contain errors or inaccuracies. DEI makes no representations about the suitability of the information contained in the Site for any purpose. The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DEI hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to the Site, including all warranties and conditions of merchantability, whether express, implied or statutory, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. In no event shall DEI by liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the Site.
