In order to best assist you, we need to determine the exact circumstances under which the problem is occurring. Please provide any other information about your system or network setup which may help us in identifying the problem.
Enter a complete description of the operating system version for both
the client and server. In unix, this can be found by typing "uname -a". In Mac OS X, select "About This Mac" from the Apple Menu. For Windows, look in the System control panel under the General tab.
Enter the upload and download speed of each Internet or Wide Area Network connection. Be careful to enter Bits Per Second, not bytes, kilo, mega, or giga.
Check off any devices or services used anywhere on the network path in question. These devices may interfere with MTP/IP if they are not correctly configured. Ask your network administrator and service provider, as it may not be immediately obvious which of these devices is in use.
Enter the size, in bytes, of the data you are trying to move. Also specify the type of data, as this may affect how third-party network devices interact with the data flow.
If you checked off anything under
"Do you have?" above, describe the devices here. Describe any other
hardware, software, or circumstances which might affect your network
operation.
