Running a Test Suite

On the client side, run MTPtestGUI, and enter the name and port number of the test server.  You can also select from among several servers maintained by DEI.  However, the results obtained from the DEI services may not be representative of the results you will see on your own data path.

While the test is running, you should avoid performing any CPU or network intensive activities on your workstation.  Once the test is complete, you will be given a brief analysis of the results and the network path.  Try running tests at different times of day and to different servers for more comprehensive results.
