Integrate the performance advantages of MTP/IP into your device, service, or software.  We offer several choices ranging from scriptable executables to detailed C language APIs.

Scriptable Executables

All of our software is available as light-weight command-line executable.  They are perfect for use in batch, PERL, and Visual Basic scripts, as well as application "exec" call-outs.  Embedding an executable involves the least integration effort while providing all of the functionality of the product.

For example, the ExpeDat client "movedat" uses the same syntax as the SSH scp command and provides detailed exit codes for reliable result tracking.  If you are already calling out to scp or ftp, you may be able to adopt ExpeDat by changing as little as one line of code.

C Library Development Kits

You can build your own applications using the same programming interfaces that we use.  All of the MTP/IP software development kits are distributed as static C libraries, for integration into any programming environment.  Interfaces range from highly abstract "fire and forget", to low-level client-server development models.

All of our interfaces provide detailed performance and reliability reporting, as well as performance tuning options.  Source code integration gives you maximum flexibility and control with robust and well-documented interfaces.  See our MTP/IP development kits page for details.

Platform Porting

Our software runs on a wide variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and most other unix-like operating systems.  See Tech Note 0004 for a complete list of currently supported platforms.  We can often port to a new unix-like system within days of receiving sample hardware.
