Quick Demo

For a quick demonstration of ExpeDat^™ on a Windows or Mac OS X system, you can download just the client and compare its speed to that of FTP.  For more comprehensive testing, or for other platforms, try our free trial.

Step 1: Download

Read the ExpeDat Trial License, then if you agree with its terms, click on the download link for your platform (~250 KB).  This software is covered by U.S. Patent Numbers 7158479, 7313627, 7404003, 7630315, and 8014289.

Step 2: Prepare the client

Windows			Mac OS X
	Save the Zip file to your desktop.			Double click the Zip file you just downloaded.
	Close your download manager. Do not click "Open" here.			Double click the MTPexpedat application.
	Right click on the Zip Archive and select "Extract All"
	Click Next through the Extraction Wizard, then Finish
	Open the extracted folder and double click the MTPexpedat icon.
Most local networks will allow client software to access Internet servers.  Some corporate firewalls may block unapproved applications.  If you receive "No Response" errors below, check with your IT Admin and see Tech Note 0002.

Step 3: Compare

The links below will download files of various sizes using FTP or ExpeDat.  Have a watch handy so you can compare the times.
