Encryption
Depending on your region and license terms, MTPexpedat may support encryption when used with a capable server.
When the "Encrypt" checkbox is selected, MTPexpedat will require that all transfers be encrypted. If the server or sender does not support encryption, the transfer will fail.
Currently, MTPexpedat uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to encode encrypted document data. In the US and certain other regions, the key size is 128 bits. For other international markets, the key size is limited to 64 bits.
Usernames and passwords are always encrypted, regardless of the "Encrypt" setting.
Using encryption will increase the CPU load of both the server and the client and may cause a reduction in performance.
