Encryption
Your data can be protected with AES encryption by selecting the "Encryption" checkbox in the upper right of the main window.
Usernames and passwords are always encrypted, even when the "Encryption" checkbox is turned off.
Administrators wishing to ensure that data is always encrypted can do so using either the server's RequireEncrypt option, or by using DropDat to embed a "Require Encryption" setting into MTPexpedat itself.
Using encryption will increase the CPU load of both the server and the client computers. This may cause a slight reduction in performance on very fast networks or very busy CPUs.
Due U.S. export restrictions, encryption may not be available in some international regions.
